But this, whatever this is, hurts in a new way. I am a Black southern writer from Mississippi. I never dreamed that my mailman asking me about the most effective use of third-person point of view would be what pleasure on a summer Sunday morning felt like. I lay on my bed, the back of my head buried deep into a down pillow that 10 minutes earlier I held like a soft someone I hoped would not leave. This morning, I listened over speakerphone as Shawn read the first five handwritten pages of the two stories he started on my porch. “I’m not sure if they’re screenplays or novels or short stories,” he told me. I sat out on that porch listening to Shawn rap one and a half songs about his “old life” in Kansas City and recite the synopses of two projects he needed to finish. Shawn told me he’d never taught but that he was a writer too. Shawn placed my delivery on the steps and asked why I had so many books delivered. Before I could answer, Shawn said he noticed the portrait of Biggie in my sunroom. While sitting on my porch, Shawn had walked up and asked if Biggie Smalls was my favorite MC.

Really.Īnd with this, I'm all caught up with UtaPri's song releases until Natsuki's new songs scheduled for Wednesday! And just in time for my sister's graduation~ If I have time before Wednesday, I'll get to work on the new Amnesia themes and my request for the Diabolik Lovers themes.Early this morning, my mailman read me a story. You'll also notice my source (and therefore, I) didn't include the first few lyrics sung in the background before the verses start, but you really shouldn't need me to spell out the "Wow wo, wow"s for you. I've grown more fond of this genre than I would have guessed, but that's only to be expected when that's all one of my friends ever seems to listen to. Actual club/dance music! And this is only confirmed by the use of the term "Breakbeats" in the lyrics themselves, which refers to this kind of rhythmic pattern as well as this type of electronic music. And now for something completely different. Another song I feel is generated more towards a crowd or large audience, similar to Syou's "CHALLENGE!" But maybe this is because I saw the anime first when it was, in fact, performed in front of a large audience of squealing fangirls. I don't know if I'd call this song's musical genre "jazz"-esque or not, but it's about what we normally get from Ren. I'm also adoring these album cover images! It's clever what they're doing with the crowns and the various books and such filling in what's behind them and such~♪ I will say the saxophone suits him well, in my opinion at least.

But dammit, I absolutely LOVE his singing voice!! Which means that he's now one of my more favorite characters (awesome singing voices = instant favs in my book, regardless of whether or not I initially like that character type).

Playboys tend to annoy the snot out of me. Honestly, I'm not usually one for Ren's character type. Silvermoon249Here's Ren's two new idol songs, "ORANGE RHAPSODY" and "FREEDOM." Gotta say, I absolutely loved both songs, and they both suited Ren's character wonderfully~
